When you think of the Los Angeles Times, what is the first thing that pops to mind? (Please, no profanity.) Is it the 38 Pulitzer Prizes its journalists have captured? Is it the 128-year history that has made it a Downtown Los Angeles institution? Is it the team-building and inspirational speeches of cuddly owner Sam Zell?

Perhaps it is any and all of the above, but last week, the Times was hoping that its readers would instead think instantly of Barack Obama holographic mouse pads. And commemorative T-shirts. And refrigerator magnets. [Click for MORE] Sphere: Related Content
