NYT Reporter Bearak Located in Harare Jail
LA Observed reports that New York Times reporter Barry Bearak and another journalist were detained for "practicing without accreditation," a government spokesman in Zimbabwe confirmed. Bearak is a former L.A. Times staff writer. [NYT]
